Fort Worth Pan American Scholarship Guidelines
The Pan American Golf Association is a national organization and was organized in 1947. The association consists of more than 2,600 members in forty-four (44) cities in ten (10) states. In addition to promoting golf, the association traditionally awards scholarships to worthy students. The monies from this scholarship fund will be deposited with the college or university at which the receiving student enrolls and are to be applied toward tuition and fees.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP, APPLICANT MUST:
Be a high school graduate.
Graduate in the upper half of the graduating class.
Establish financial need.
Enroll in a program, which leads to the awarding of a certificate (as i.e.: a vocational/technical program, an associate degree, or bachelor’s degree.)
Enroll or currently be enrolled in a community college or four year college or university.
Submit the following – postmark no later than July 25th of the current calendar year.
A properly completed application form.
The latest academic transcript.
A letter of recommendation from an appropriate counselor.
